Ischia is one of the most picturesque islands in the Bay of Naples, which is part of
the Campanian archipelago. In addition to offering exotic landscapes with
hills and rocky beaches, it is famous for its spas and natural springs.
You can reach Ischia in less than an hour by ferry or private boat from the port of Pozzuoli near Naples in southern Italy.
Upon docking, you are greeted by the modern capital of Ischia Porto, with its bars and restaurants, overlooking the port.
Just a 10-minute drive east you will reach the historic seaside town of Ischia Ponte, home to a volcanic islet with a medieval castle on its hill.
Ischia is a volcanic island in the Gulf of Naples, Italy. She is known for her
mineral-rich thermal waters.
Hot springs are bubbling up at Maronti Beach in the south. To the east, Roman remains remain under the seabed of Cartaromana beach.
The beach offers a view of the medieval Aragonese castle, connected to Ischia by a stone bridge. Nearby, the 18th-century Palazzo dell Orologio houses the Museum of the Sea,
dedicated to the fishing tradition of Ischia.

It is a steep and jagged coast, encircled by the famous Faraglioni (sea stacks) of huge uniquely shaped rocks, and by numerous caves that show evocative play of light.
The most famous of these caves is the Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto), linked to the history of tourism in Capri. The island continues to be a favorite destination for travelers, intellectuals and the international jet set.
Capri is a shining jewel with a brilliant history through all its different facets.
Its countless points of interest seduce visitors with their tales of an enchanting past.
